Just got a letter from Ruth Eckerd Hall dated Feb. 13 th that the IM shows for March 3 2012 has been postponed. Came here to verify but the concert list still says March 3rd.

What's up guys?

Please excuse my typing/spelling errors. My first reply today didn't go through so I rushed the second one in hopes of not losing it again. Have a great day everyone!

There was nothing wrong with your post. JayW's was totally inappropriate. If he must 'vent' he should do so on his own page, Facebook or whatever. There is no reason for anyone to come on the Movers' site and post false accusations and hurl nasty remarks at them. For what? They didn't do anything wrong and have apologized multiple times for the rescheduling that had to be done.

We had tickets to the closest show, which happens to be 4 states away. We cannot make the rescheduled date. Sure, that stinks. But it doesn't make me angry at the Movers. I want them around for years to come so I support any business decision that has to be made to ensure that they are. I think most true fans would.

People need to stop and think before freakingn out about the tour adjustments. First of all, consider the Movers' families. It can't feel good to read posts calling your husband/dad a name or critizing them unfairly. Plus who knows what the Movers will miss out on at home in the fall? Maybe the rescheduled dates weren't so conveinent for them either? Next, I know how much it costs to fill the tank of a semi. Driving one, maybe more plus a bus acroos the country is an astronomical expense. That's just one expense.

Posts like JayW's are not ok. Not for any reason.

Sorry that my post brought any ill will to the blog.
We were just confused when the venue told us the show was moved but the site here had yet to be updated.
The shows were moved because both the promoter and the venues wanted to capitalize on the additional exposure the band will get from the rollout of the Disney Junior channel will bring. The band does not always get the final say in these matters.
I do not know JayW's situation in regards to the rescheduling. He may not be able to make that date. If that's the case I do not envy his having to break that news to his Daughter. In the spirit of the Movers allow him to vent but address his misconceptions without any unnecessary hostility.

WOW jayW what a cheap shot. There is nothing pathetic about the Movers. I wish more people were intelligent enough to know that performers can't tour, AT ALL, if they don't PROFIT. What is hard to understand about that????? Why don't you explain some BASIC business principles to your kid instead of having the nerve to come on the Movers site and post a nasty remark?

The Movers go above and beyond and are the best thing out there right now for kids, parents and families!

Rock on Movers! Please disregard all comments from ignorant jerks! :)

Are the movers going to call my kid and tell her they canceled her show so they could make more money? Pathetic.

All of the March shows have been rescheduled. The new dates are reflected on the tour page now. Also, read the "news" section on this website for more information.
