Disney Channel and the Imagination Movers invite the city of New Orleans and our fans across the country to rock out at a free hometown concert on SUNDAY, JUNE 6 at Lakefront Arena. The performance will be videotaped for the first-ever "Imagination Movers" television special to air on Disney Channel. Tickets for the free of charge event will be available beginning SATURDAY, MAY 8 exclusively through Ticketmaster and Lakefront Arena box office on a first come first serve basis. Food Drive Benefiting Coastal Communities Impacted by the Gulf Oil Spill Ticketholders for the Imagination Movers upcoming New Orleans concert this Sunday, June 6 at Lakefront Arena have the option of bringing nonperishable food items with them to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank’s emergency food distribution. Food collected through the Imagination Movers’ drive will help Second Harvest Food Bank provide emergency food distribution in the coastal communities impacted by the Gulf oil spill. Second Harvest Food Bank provides emergency food assistance through a network of 240 faith-based and nonprofit member agencies in 23 south Louisiana parishes, including those parishes directly impacted by the Gulf oil spill. Suggested food items to donate include, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, soups and stews, canned meats (chicken, beef, ham), tuna fish, cereal, beans, juice, rice, pasta, and shelf stable milk. Second Harvest Food Bank volunteers and food collection barrels will be stationed at the entrances of the UNO Lakefront Arena from 12:30 PM - 2:30PM. Doors open 1 PM.
